Games Done Quick (GDQ) is a series of video game marathons featuring high level speedrunning all to raise money for charity. The most well known GDQ marathons include their major 24/7 week long events Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) and Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ). Currently GDQ has raised over $50 million dollars for charity over it's 9 year history for organizations such as the Prevent Cancer foundation and Doctors Without Borders.
AGDQ 2025 was personally one of the best gaming events I have ever attended. The sheer production, off-the-wall speedruns on the schedule and the amount of people coming together to support a worthy cause made this event so special to me. I was blessed to have some of the best shifts during this event including Crazy Taxi with a live backing band.
